The Comeback: By Trish Cooper and Sam Vint

The Comeback: By Trish Cooper and Sam Vint

A co-production with The Citadel Theatre (Edmonton)

A love story. With baggage.

The Comeback, written by real-life married couple Trish Cooper and Sam Vint, is a funny, honest, and nuanced look at what happens when families from different backgrounds collide. The play follows Adam, a Métis writer navigating identity and family history, and his settler wife, Jesse. When Adam and Jesse's surprise pregnancy brings their Métis and settler families closer together, long-buried tensions bubble to the surface.

Not quite fact, not quite fiction, The Comeback draws from two writers' personal lives to reveal a story full of humanity and hope. Join a couple of new parents as they learn how to communicate, set boundaries, and survive family-holiday chaos. Both hilarious and heartfelt, The Comeback celebrates the power of love and the importance of family bonds.

The performance on November 28th at 2 PM will be interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL).
