Stuart McLean’s famous Vinyl Cafe characters deliver nostalgia and holiday magic to NAC English Theatre, only this time it’s a musical! This new Canadian creation will have you laughing, crying, and reconnecting with Dave and Morley’s timeless world of nostalgic Canadiana. Both heartwarming and hilarious, this production brings some of McLean’s most cherished tales to life on stage, including Dave Cooks the Turkey and Rashida, Amir and the Great Gift-Giving.

The Vinyl Cafe Christmas Musical was commissioned by The Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 2022, and premiered at the Citadel in December 2025, under the leadership of Artistic Director Daryl Cloran and Executive Director Jessie van Rijn.
