From Our National Collection
Wild Colour features select specimens from the Canadian Museum of Nature’s national collection, highlighting our understanding of colour in nature.
Find a silverback gorilla, orange bubble-gum coral, purple mushrooms and more throughout the exhibition’s eight colour zones.
Short audio stories reveal where each specimen comes from, how their colours were formed and why they matter in the natural world.

Canadian Museum of Nature
Canada's national natural history museum, housed in a landmark Victorian sandstone building. Features dinosaur fossils, a blue whale skeleton, the world's largest display of Canadian birds, and an Arctic gallery. Free Thursday evenings 5-8 PM for all.
