Mocktails in Ottawa: Four Menus and Prices to Compare

Want a drink with more choice than pop or sparkling water? These four Ottawa businesses publish named mocktails on their own menus. The useful differences are the ingredients, the menu price and the setting: a George Street bar, a restaurant on Parkdale Avenue or a coffee and tea specialist on Bayswater Avenue.

Menus and addresses were checked on October 22, 2026. Prices below are the amounts printed on those menus, not a final bill. Menus can change, so use the linked operator pages to check your order before a special trip.

The Clarendon and The Hyde have separate menus and street addresses. Choose the actual venue you intend to visit rather than treating their drink lists as interchangeable.

The Clarendon Tavern — four $8 options on George Street

The Clarendon Tavern at 11 George Street labels its mocktail section 0% and prices each of its four drinks at $8.

Passion Punch combines cranberry, passion fruit and soda. Chai Lemonade uses chai syrup, lemon, 7UP and soda; Honey Drop pairs honey-ginger syrup with lemon and tonic. The fourth option, Cranberry Mule, lists cranberry-cinnamon syrup, lime and ginger beer.

This is a useful menu to compare when your group wants several fruit, ginger or chai combinations at the same listed price. Order by the mocktail name: the same drinks page also contains alcoholic cocktails, beer and wine.

The Hyde — three $10 mocktails

The Hyde publishes 15 George Street as its address. Its cocktail menu has a separate Mocktails 0% section with three choices, each $10.

Cucumber Mist combines cucumber and mint with lemon and soda. Crimson Bloom brings together cherry-pomegranate cordial, jasmine syrup, lemon and soda. Plum Intended includes Earl Grey tea with honey-plum cordial, lemon and ginger beer.

Use those ingredient lists to choose between cucumber, cherry or a tea-based drink. The operator advertises Thursday–Saturday opening from 5 PM until “late”; it does not give a precise closing time there. Check your intended evening with the venue.

Bodega — mock versions of familiar cocktail formats

Bodega is at 121 Parkdale Avenue, the address on the reservation page linked from its own website. Its dedicated mocktail section lists Phony Negroni, Zero Sour, Mock-a-Rita and Senza Spritz at $16 each.

The Phony Negroni names Undone Not Orange Bitter, NOA Sweet Vermouth and Undone Not Gin, with orange. The Mock-a-Rita lists HP Agave, NOA Orange liqueur, lime and agave syrup, with traditional or spicy versions. For the Zero Sour and Senza Spritz, the menu directs diners to ask their server for details.

Choose Bodega when you want to compare those familiar drink formats with a meal. Its published food menu includes lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The mocktail section does not state a final ABV for every finished drink; ask about the current ingredients if an exact alcohol-content figure matters to your order.

AHH! Coffee — coffee and tea are part of the recipe

AHH! Coffee at 50 Bayswater Avenue calls itself Caffeinated Alchemy House. Its menu places these drinks under a non-alcoholic mocktail heading, with published prices from $7.50 to $10.

Mr Sparkle is a $7.50 cold-brew drink with lemon, cinnamon syrup and soda. Stealing Birds is an $8 Earl Grey creation with yuzu-pineapple syrup, soda and heavy cream. Son of a Grimace is listed at $8 with coconut, ube, soursop, lime and spicy pineapple soda.

The base matters here: many choices use cold brew, espresso, matcha or tea. A non-alcoholic order is not automatically a caffeine-free order. Tell the cafe which base or ingredient you want to avoid rather than choosing from the drink name alone.

Choose the drink and the venue separately

Start with the ingredients and price, then check the venue's current hours and booking information. The Clarendon, The Hyde and Bodega also advertise alcoholic drinks; this guide identifies their mocktail choices rather than describing them as alcohol-free venues. “0%” above is the wording used by the relevant operator, not an independent measurement of the finished drink.
