Jury Kobayashi-Mackay and Drip Duo

Improvised chamber music

Composer-performer and double bassist Jury Kobayashi-Mackay presents an evening of experimental chamber music. The first set features Drip Duo, pairing Kobayashi-Mackay's bass with Helen Taylor Abbot on viola; the second is a solo double-bass set.

The programme draws on experimental jazz and twentieth-century experimental music. This is a concert rather than a conventional chamber-music recital with a fixed published repertoire.
