Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet performs Stravinsky Stories with the NAC Orchestra at Southam Hall, National Arts Centre. The programme pairs Firebird, with new choreography by Houston Thomas, and The Fairy’s Kiss, choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky.
The two one-act ballets connect Stravinsky’s music with folklore, fantasy and the image of an artist’s muse.
Saturday Matinee
Saturday, October 31, 2–4 pm, according to the official performance schedule.
The October 29 and 30 evening performances run 8–10:30 pm and are listed separately.
