About Top Karting

Top Karting is the Ottawa-Gatineau region's only year-round go-kart facility, located just across the river in Gatineau. The 440-metre asphalt track runs both indoors and outdoors with heating, so you can race in any season.

The Karts

All karts are Sodi RT8 gas-powered with 9 HP engines, capable of reaching 70 km/h. Junior karts are available for younger drivers.

Pricing

  • Junior (ages 8–11): Starting at $26.09 / 10 minutes
  • Adult (ages 12+): Starting at $39.14 / 10 minutes

Minimum height: 4'3" (junior), 5' (adult). Maximum weight: 300 lbs.

Hours

  • Monday–Thursday: 2 PM – 10 PM
  • Friday: 2 PM – Midnight
  • Saturday: 10 AM – Midnight
  • Sunday: 10 AM – 10 PM

More Than Karting

Top Karting also features a sports bar overlooking the track, private party rooms, corporate event packages, a karting league, and academy lessons. Paintball is also available on site.

Getting There

Located at 200 Rue d'Edmonton in Gatineau, about 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa across the Champlain Bridge. Free parking available.

Is Top Karting open in winter?

Yes. Top Karting is the only year-round go-kart facility in the Ottawa-Gatineau area, with heated indoor sections.

What is the minimum age to drive at Top Karting?

Children ages 8 and up can drive junior karts (minimum height 4'3"). Adult karts are for ages 12 and up (minimum height 5').

Do I need a reservation at Top Karting?

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended during busy times like weekends and evenings.
