Sucrerie du Terroir is a small-scale cabane à sucre in Val-des-Monts, about 30 minutes from Ottawa. The site describes itself as "far from the feel of large dining halls" — table-service all-you-can-eat with shared family-style dishes.

Menu (2026 season)

Starters: Pea soup with ham, coleslaw, homemade cretons, bread

Mains: Soufflé omelette, crispy pork cracklings (oreilles de crisse), sausages, maple baked beans, pork tenderloin with maple sauce, crispy potatoes

Desserts: Buckwheat pancakes, maple mousse tartlet, coffee/tea, maple taffy on snow (outdoors by the fire), campfire marshmallows (weekends only)

• Child 1–5: $19

Discounted rates (Tue–Thu and weekend early 8:30–9:30am seatings, excluding Easter Thursday):

• Adult $39 / Child 6–11 $26 / Child 1–5 $18

Dinner with Live Music (Fri/Sat + select Thursdays + Easter Sunday): $65 flat per person

Taxes and gratuity excluded. BYOB welcome.
