Shawarma Station is the South End's answer to the downtown shawarma scene. Located on Bank Street near South Keys, it's been a neighbourhood staple for years. The portions are enormous — even by Ottawa shawarma standards — and they open at 7am, which is rare for a shawarma place.
What to Order
- Chicken Shawarma Plate — Massive plate with rice, salad, hummus, garlic potatoes, and enough chicken to fill you up for the rest of the day.
- Beef Shawarma Wrap — Tightly packed and heavy. Bring your appetite.
- Falafel Plate — Good vegetarian option with all the sides.

Counter service, no-frills space. The food comes fast and comes big. Popular with families and locals in the South End who don't want to drive downtown for shawarma.
