The RA Centre is a large multi-sport recreation facility on Riverside Drive, known among Ottawa parents for its well-organized PA (PD) Day camp programs. It's one of the best places in the city for working parents who need a reliable, single-day drop-off camp when schools are closed.
Beyond the camps, the RA Centre has a swimming pool, curling club, bowling alley, gymnasium, and fitness centre, making it a genuine community hub on Ottawa's south side.
PA Day Camps
The RA Centre offers three age-based camp levels:
- Junior Day Camp — Ages 4-5
- Day Camp — Ages 6-8
- Multi-Sports Camp — Ages 9-12
Schedule: 9am-4pm with drop-off 8:30-9am and pick-up 4-4:30pm. Activities: Arts & crafts, physical games, outdoor play, sports. Pricing: $55 + 5% facility fee = $59.13/day (single-day registration).
