About King Mountain Trail

The King Mountain Trail is a 1.9 km loop along the Eardley Escarpment in Gatineau Park, with 10 lookouts spread along the cliff edge and interpretive panels at each. It is one of Gatineau Park's most popular short hikes and delivers the iconic Ottawa view — Parliament Hill, the downtown skyline, and the Ottawa River valley laid out below.

Distance is family-friendly but elevation gain is significant — proper footwear recommended.
