The Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) is Ottawa's longest-running professional theatre company, producing Canadian plays for 50+ years. Since 2007 it has been housed at the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre on Wellington West — a purpose-built facility with a 262-seat mainstage, a black box studio, a bar, a coffee shop, and the Lorraine 'Fritzi' Yale Art Gallery.
GCTC's programming focuses on Canadian work that examines Canadian life and Canada's place in the world.
