Imagine Cinemas Ottawa is a 5-screen second-run cinema located inside the St. Laurent Shopping Centre at 1200 St. Laurent Boulevard. The theatre offers recent films that have completed their premium first-run at significantly reduced ticket prices, making it a popular destination for budget-conscious moviegoers. A party room and interactive video games are also available.
History
The cinema at this location has a long history dating back to October 10, 1968, when it opened as a twin theatre operated by Odeon Theatres (Canada) Ltd. inside the St. Laurent Shopping Centre. It was expanded and renovated into a 5-plex on December 25, 1991. The cinema closed in 2001 and was later reopened by Rainbow Cinemas/Magic Lantern Theatres in 2005. Imagine Cinemas took over operations in 2016.

What to Expect
The theatre provides an affordable movie experience in a convenient mall location. With five auditoriums and daily early bird specials, it is one of the most affordable ways to catch a movie in Ottawa. The St. Laurent Shopping Centre location means easy access to dining, shopping, and OC Transpo connections via the Confederation Line LRT at St-Laurent Station.
