The Algonquin Commons Theatre (ACT) is a 700-seat auditorium inside the Robert C. Gillett Student Commons at Algonquin College. When the floor-level seats are removed for standing-room shows, capacity expands to 835. Run by the Algonquin Students' Association, ACT has grown into one of Ottawa's main west-end mid-size venues — Ticketmaster and Live Nation regularly route touring artists through the room.
Programming spans concerts (rock, indie, electronic, hip-hop), comedy nights, dance performances, and the college's own arts programming.
