With Frétillant et Agile, Jocelyn Sioui brings to life Auhaïtsic, an improbable Wendat hero. How does this illustrious stranger, who inspires mistrust in his friends and family, manage to save his nation from extinction and change the course of History?
Expert puppeteer and fabulous storyteller Jocelyn Sioui loves shedding light on colourful, larger-than-life figures. The author of Mononk Jules, which he adapted for the stage, knows you have to remember that still waters run deep. The show Frétillant et Agile is based on the story of the same name, written by Jocelyn Sioui and published by Éditions Hannenorak.
“Hang on. From here on, it’s a story that follows the current.”
- Jocelyn Sioui (from the book)
