Join us during Lebanese Heritage Month as we gather to honour the bravery, sacrifice and enduring contributions of Lebanese-Canadian military members who served Canada in times of war, conflict and peace. Taking place the day before Lebanese Independence Day, this ceremony provides a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the deep ties between Canada and Lebanon and to recognize the service of Lebanese Canadians in Canada’s military history. Hosted by the Lebanese-Canadian Military Remembrance Committee, in partnership with Beechwood Cemetery, the National Military Cemetery and the Embassy of Lebanon in Canada, the ceremony will include remarks from dignitaries, the national anthems of Canada and Lebanon, a wreath-laying ceremony and a shared moment of remembrance. Veterans, families, community members and friends are welcome to attend. A short reception will follow. Saturday, November 21, 2026 10:45 a.m. (please arrive by 10:30 a.m.) Sacred Space Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa Honouring Service. Celebrating Heritage.
