About the programme
Develop a story idea through a series of practical, discussion-based writing workshops. Topics include story structure, point of view, character, worldbuilding, dialogue and pacing, along with the shape of sentences and longer narrative arcs.
The series also addresses self-doubt, writer’s block and maintaining creative momentum. Both new and experienced writers are welcome; no prior writing background is required. Bring an open mind and a story idea to develop.
The 2026–2027 programme has eight remaining confirmed Sunday sessions, 2–3:30 PM, in Stittsville’s Grace Thompson room.
