About the programme
A smaller-group programme with dimmed lighting, sensory toys and an adapted circle time with stories, rhymes and songs. Children have time for open play, and families have an opportunity to meet one another.
The library designed this welcoming environment to respect the needs of children 18 months–6 years who live with developmental disabilities or autism, or show signs of developmental delay. A family member or caregiver must stay for the whole session.
