About the programme
Children in grades 1–4 are paired with teen volunteers for interactive, 45-minute read-aloud sessions. Each child keeps the same reading buddy throughout the six-week programme, helping the pair get to know one another.
This is the 5:15 PM cohort. Children can attend only one of the two cohorts and must be able to attend all six weeks. After registering online, families receive a registration form by email. Registration is finalized only after that form is completed; registrants have five days to return it before their place is offered to someone else.
