Mali Obomsawin with Main Arteries
Debaser presents Abenaki multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer Mali Obomsawin at FONO for an Ottawa release concert for Automatic. Her work combines experimental music and free jazz, drawing on and reclaiming archival Abenaki-language recordings.
Opening act Main Arteries is the project of Ottawa percussionists Olivier Fairfield and Scott Warren, combining acoustic drums, tape loops and electronic textures.
Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 8 PM. Debaser's official schedule runs through 11 PM. The event is licensed and 19+. The BIA lists $20 in advance / $25 at the door; check the organizer's current booking information before purchasing.
FONO is at 473 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa. Debaser confirms a ground-floor entrance with no steps inside. The main door is not automatic; visitors can knock for assistance. A gender-neutral universal washroom is in the hallway, with an automatic opener and grab bars.
