Known for crafting music that is both intimate and otherworldly, acclaimed Canadian songwriter Dana Sipos’ talent for earthen imagery, rich, spiralling vocals, and textured instrumentation sets the stage for a deeply moving performance. She has brought her cosmic folk to living rooms, concert halls and festival stages across North America, Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Her work has been praised by musical luminaries such as Laurie Brown, profiled in Penguin Eggs and celebrated on CBC Q with several Canadian Folk Music nominations under her belt, including Pushing the Boundaries, celebrating innovation in creating new folk sounds. Exploring themes of impermanence and metamorphosis, Golden Molten was released in early 2026 and confirms Sipos as a singular presence in contemporary folk music—a deeply reflective artist attuned to both the fragility and resilience of the human experience.
The NAC would like to acknowledge the generous support of John and Pina Sicard.
