It’s all treats, no tricks inside Southam Hall!
From an excerpt from The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to the theme from Ghostbusters and other hair-raising tunes, this concert is sure to cast a spell on you this Halloween. Principal Youth Conductor and Community Ambassador Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, the NAC Orchestra, and special guests bring spooky orchestral favourites to life in a fang-tastic performance.
Like our musicians, come decked out in your best costume—but be sure to park your broom at the door!

Pre-Concert Activities
Arrive 60 minutes early to participate in pre-concert activities in the NAC Main Lobby areas. More than a concert, it’s an interactive musical experience!

National Arts Centre
Canada's bilingual, multi-disciplinary home for the performing arts, featuring four performance venues, the NAC Orchestra, and the 1 Elgin restaurant with Rideau Canal views. A National Historic Site with Brutalist architecture and a striking 2017 glass addition by Diamond Schmitt Architects.
