The Ottawa Miniature Gallery (OMG) is a mobile gallery showcasing a diverse selection of miniature art from local artists in public and accessible spaces around the city. The OMG brings together artists who work in various media over the shared joy of making something small.
The Ottawa Miniature Gallery is partnering with the National Arts Centre to present miniature artworks created by 2SLGBTQI+ identifying artists living in the National Capital Region. As part of the OMG’s commitment to making a big impact with tiny art, 2SLGBTQI+ artists will have their pieces showcased in this exhibition as reflections of the experiences of queer folks living and making art in Ottawa.
The gallery was founded in 2022 by local artist Jennifer Anne Kelly with funding from the City of Ottawa. It is currently operated and curated by miniaturist Kiana Simmons and is the recent recipient of the Awesome Ottawa award and the Tontine Bursary.
Visit the Ottawa Miniature Gallery’s Pride exhibition from August 1 to August 31, 2026.
