Formed by three friends during the pandemic, the Oxbow Trio found in chamber music a creative refuge that quickly grew into a deeply rewarding artistic collaboration. Violinist David Thies-Thompson and cellist Leah Wyber, both familiar faces from the National Arts Centre Orchestra, join pianist Nicole Presentey for a program featuring trios by Beethoven, Saint-Saëns, Turina, and Piazzolla, alongside a performance by the winner of Chamberfest’s 2026 Rising Stars Competition.

Canada's bilingual, multi-disciplinary home for the performing arts, featuring four performance venues, the NAC Orchestra, and the 1 Elgin restaurant with Rideau Canal views. A National Historic Site with Brutalist architecture and a striking 2017 glass addition by Diamond Schmitt Architects.
