Ottawa Art Gallery - Relief from Everyday Life (Intro to Relief Printing)

Ottawa Art Gallery - Relief from Everyday Life (Intro to Relief Printing)

Spark your imagination and develop new ways to express yourself together through this  90-minute Relief Printing workshop.  With the guidance of a Gallery Educator and together with your group, you will be inspired by OAG permanent collection artist James Boyd’s work Kumarbis is Forced to Land on Mount Kanzuras (1983) and learn about relief printing. Each participant will make their own linocut to create a series of images to take home. Participants can work independently or foster team building through collaborating on a composite image.
