A Special Walking Tour Inspired by Romeo and Juliet Before Capital Pop-Up Cinema Presents Romeo and Juliet begins, join Beechwood Cemetery for a unique guided walking tour exploring the real-life love stories of couples who helped shape Ottawa and Canada. Inspired by the themes of Romeo and Juliet, this tour explores how love, partnership, and shared purpose can transform communities and leave lasting legacies. Featured couples include: • Sir Robert and Lady Laura Borden • Thomas and Margaret Ahearn • Ella and Erskine Bronson • Sir William Johnstone Ritchie and Lady Grace Vernon Ritchie Following the tour, guests are invited to stay for the outdoor screening of Romeo and Juliet presented by Capital Pop-Up Cinema. Beechwood Cemetery July 18, 2026 Walking Tour: 7:00 p.m. Film Screening: 8:30 p.m.
