6:15 pm — Thunder Queens

Thunder Queens are a London, Ontario teen rock trio formed in 2019. Riff-forward and loud, their songs blend soaring multi-part harmonies, big guitar hooks, heavy bass lines, and an unmistakable drummer-singer. Childhood friends Violet, Lola, and Clara perform on sheer velocity, with the precision that comes from playing together for seven years at age seventeen.

Their debut album Strike One (2024) catches that balance of force and melody, and singles “Teenage Years” and “Birds on a Wire” (2025) show their writing pushing further. Their foundation of sisterhood and  strong point of view have earned them spots alongside acclaimed acts like The Beaches, Billy Talent, Frank Turner, The Dirty Nil, Ombiigizi, The Death Valley Girls, The Violent Femmes, and Daniel Romano, and to perform at Pop Montreal, Sled Island, SuperCrawl, PouzzaFest, Up Here Festival, and Riverfest Elora.

7:45 pm — Angine de Poitrine

Disciples of planet Earth’s rock deities, space-time voyagers Klek and Khn de Poitrine gaze in wonder at hot dogs, pyramids, and rock music in all its glorious excess. Asymmetrical and dissonant, Angine de Poitrine’s music makes hearts race and bodies move with ecstatic abandon. Through tight, pulsing drum grooves and intricate tangles of double-neck microtonal guitar, the band summons swirling vortices of hypnotic sound and vision.

Since the release of Vol. 1 in 2024, Angine de Poitrine are in the eye of an ever-growing storm of enthusiasm from audiences, critics, and music industry’s main actors. After delivering electrifying performances at Quebec’s major festivals, including the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Angine de Poitrine now sets their sights on the prestigious Trans Musicales in Rennes.  All these facts are strictly reserved to the humanoids: Angine de Poitrine are simply thrilled to play rock ’n’ roll.

9:15 pm — Death From Above 1979 🎤 headliner

Death From Above 1979 are a two piece dance-punk band from Canada started in 2001 by Jesse F. Keeler (Bass/Synth) and Sebastien Grainger (Vocals/Drums). Soon after releasing their debut EP Heads Up they were propelled through the scuzzy punk basements to international rock stages. In 2004, their fuzzed out disco death metal LP You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine blasted off so hard they called it quits by 2005, ultimately reuniting in 2011 triggering a riot at the South By Southwest music festival. Since then they have released three more LPs: The Physical World in 2014, Outrage! Is Now in 2017 and Is 4 Lovers in 2020. Over the years they’ve shared stages with Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal + countless others. One night they bowled with Mick Jagger and Jack White until three in the morning. Join them as they continue their peerless adventure through the fractured ice bog of 21st century Rock and Roll.
