Tim Hortons Canada Day Fireworks

The celebrations end with a bang in Canada's Capital Region. The sky over Ottawa-Gatineau lights up during the Tim Hortons Canada Day Fireworks at 10 PM.

Best places to watch: The fireworks are set off near LeBreton Flats Park. For an exceptional view, head to the park or nearby streets, which will be closed to traffic that day.

The main festival hub — runs from 9 AM straight through to the fireworks at 10 PM.

Parliament Hill

Supreme Court of Canada

The Supreme Court lawn becomes a creativity hub — workshops, improv, magic, and the only morning yoga session of the day.

Old Hull (Gatineau)

The Gatineau side of the river — afternoon family fun and a late-night francophone music lineup that runs past the fireworks.

  • 7 PM – 7:45 PMHaviah Mighty (live) — Toronto-born rapper, musician, and producer brings fierce energy and politically charged lyrics to the main stage.
  • 8:30 PM – 9:15 PMQualité Motel + Franky Fade + Virginie B — Members of Valaire blend DJ sets, remixes, Top 40 mash-ups, and originals with two special guests.
  • 10:15 PM – 11 PMLOUD — Grand Finale — Right after the fireworks, Canadian francophone rap icon LOUD closes out the celebrations. An epic finale.
