Toronto-based singer-songwriter Just Prince is known for seamlessly blending Western and Eastern sounds into a harmonious tapestry. With a captivating style that defies genre constraints, his music weaves elements of folk, rock, blues, and Hindustani classical music into a mesmerising experience. Just Prince's evocative compositions take listeners on a sonic journey, transcending cultural boundaries and resonating with the soul. Through his innovative approach, he crafts a musical landscape that bridges worlds with the intention of genuine songwriting and experimental expression.
Just Prince‘s album Ocean is set for release in March 2026. His debut single from the album, “Barren,” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
On May 15th, Just Prince will take the stage at the NAC Fourth Stage with a trio of musicians for a truly unique live experience. Blending elements of folk, rock, blues, and Indian classical music, this performance offers a rich, genre-defying soundscape. If you’re a listener who loves musical diversity and cross-cultural exploration, this is a show not to be missed.
The NAC would like to acknowledge the generous support of John and Pina Sicard.
