Getting Started in Genealogical Research

Getting Started in Genealogical Research

Genealogy is a combination of detective work and piecing together a huge jigsaw puzzle that will never be truly finished. There is no right way to do genealogy, but there are better ways, and one can learn from those who have gone ahead. Volunteers from the Ottawa branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society will discuss some of the basics of genealogical research, researching on-line, genealogical software and presenting your results. Registration recommended.
